Here’s couple of Halloween pillows I made from a really cute book purchased at the Houston Quilt Festival last November.
These are really cute and will probably end up with one of my grandkids. Most of the work is done by machine applique but the spider’s web and spider are done by hand embroidery. I’ve done counted cross stitch for many years but I’m trying to learn embroidery. I can’t seem to keep my stitches the same size. Hopefully, I’ll get better as I practice.
I purchased several Christmas quilt patterns that use hand embroidery so I need to get crackin on that practice!
